Taste of the South Celebration
A conclusion to African American Heritage Month that will feature food, music and dancing of a soulful nature, in a festive atmosphere. The event is sponsored by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks and marks the end of Mardi Gras and the beginning of Lent. Enjoy a variety of traditional dishes, including collard greens, black-eyed peas, corn bread, sweet potato pie and more.
